Inexpensive Makeup Brands

I’m not the kind of girl who wears makeup everyday, but when I do, my go-to brands are Wet n Wild and Maybelline. I recently purchased a liquid eyeliner called Megaliner and a mascara called Megalength from Wet n Wild.

The liquid eyeliner has a thin consistency and gives a light touch to the face. The applicator is thin as well making it easy to apply a winged eyeliner. The mascara applicator is small and it isn’t clumpy when applied.

I rarely wear foundation but if I do, Maybelline has my back. I’ve been using Maybelline’s FIT me! Matte Poreless foundation.  This product has a very light consistency, and doesn’t smudge when applied. This foundation gives your face a radiant appearance.  I love these two brands and recommend them to anyone who wants to buy affordable but quality makeup. You can purchase these inexpensive makeup brands at your local Target, Walgreens, and CVS pharmacy.

Keep in mind that some major cosmetic companies also have lower priced brand name products. You might learn what works for you by trial and error. Many stores will take returns if you are not satisfied.

  1. I love Revlon foundations. Lots of skin tones, goes on light with great coverage. Definitely priced right.

For nail polish on my natural nails, I recently did a test. I usually wear $8 Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. I polished one finger with LA Colors from Dollar Tree, and the rest with Hansen’s. I cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The LA Colors polish lasted just as well. I used two coats of polish and one coat of Hansen’s Miracle Top Coat. I’ll do this test a couple more times to be sure.
