Some of my greatest fashion finds are discovered in the men’s department. When shopping for men’s clothing, my main focus is on hats and scarves. Sometimes I’ll look for oversized button-down shirts.
You can be sure that you won’t be likely to see yourself coming and going when you make a few wise wardrobe selections chosen off of the men’s racks. Don’t worry; you can still look feminine while adorning your guy wear. But don’t expect a boxer silhouette to hug your frame due to the size difference between men’s and women’s clothing.
If you don’t want to make any long-term investments, the thrift shops and the consignment stores are definitely the cheaper route to take. Another way to save money is to raid your man’s closet.
From eyeglass frames, to belts and coats, I have often tapped into my masculine style as a fashion incentive to give my wardrobe some individuality. Many hats appear unisex, but I prefer the hat that has “man” written all over it.
No need to worry about doling out big bucks for a wonderful scarf when your man might just have one readily available. Make sure to not pass up the belt department during your shopping excursions either.
The coat pictured below is one of my very favorites. It is the type of coat you see on older men. I like them because of the full cut that makes them so very comfortable and the look is still chic.
