Sometimes a girl has just got to have fun. Deprivation is the main reason why most of us seem to fall off the bandwagon when it comes to staying on track with a diet. The answer to this dilemma for some people is to simple have one day where we eat whatever we want. Some of us can’t just eat a few of the good things we absolutely love; we have to gobble it up until we are satisfied.
I have found that giving up on certain foods is hard, cutting back on the foods that reek havoc on our diets is a little easier if we have not totally eliminated them. So go ahead and have your cake, cookies and pies and eat it too, as long as you don’t keep it as a mainstay in your diet.
Treat yourself to treats every now and again, and remember diets can be temporary, but a healthy lifestyle is what you need to stay the course.
