I was about to enter my very favorite thrift shop when I saw a rack outside the store with an “All things $2.00” sale sign. I purchased this brown suit just to show you what you could do with an ensemble that cost less than a cup of coffee.
I added a few earrings near the lapel to accent my $2.00 suit. I usually use earrings to create a brooch look. I also added the fur cuffs.
I went through several tops to maximize the skirt, just in case I decide to wear both pieces separately. The jacket can also be worn over several skirts, pants, or even a dress.
Because the fabric is lightweight wool, it can be worn throughout most seasons. The skirt length hit me just at the right place around my knees.
With only 2 dollars, I have added a stylish new piece to my wardrobe! With enough imagination and the right creative spark, one can always dress up thrift items any way they wish and make something fabulous out of nothing.
