There comes a moment in life when a woman stops asking for permission to take up space.
A moment when she realizes that aging is not the end of her story — it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with wisdom, confidence, freedom, reinvention, and purpose.
That is exactly why we created the “Yes, At My Age!” gathering.
This year’s theme, “I Celebrate Me!”, is more than a slogan. It is a declaration.
For too long, Black women have carried the weight of everyone else’s needs while often placing themselves last. We have shown up for families, careers, communities, churches, organizations, and causes — sometimes at the expense of our own wellness, peace, dreams, and joy.
Now it is time to celebrate ourselves.
This experience was created specifically for women who are navigating the realities of aging while still wanting to feel seen, stylish, healthy, relevant, joyful, and inspired.
At “Yes, At My Age!”, we are creating a space where women can have real conversations about the issues that matter most to us as we age:

• Protecting our health and mental wellness
• Managing stress and burnout
• Financial confidence and retirement preparation
• Reinventing ourselves after major life changes
• Caring for aging parents while still caring for ourselves
• Navigating loneliness, friendships, and relationships
• Style and beauty after 50, 60, and beyond
• Learning to say “yes” to ourselves without guilt
• Finding purpose in our next chapter
• Creating peace, joy, and balance in our everyday lives
But this year, we’re doing something even more powerful.
Instead of telling women what they need, we want to hear directly from the women attending. What topics matter most to you? What activities would make you feel empowered, encouraged, informed, or simply refreshed?
Whether it’s wellness workshops, honest panel discussions, style experiences, movement sessions, mindset conversations, networking, laughter, music, or moments of reflection — we want this gathering to reflect the voices of the women in the room.
Because this is not just another event.
It is a celebration of survival.
A celebration of growth.
A celebration of reinvention.
A celebration of choosing yourself unapologetically.
At a time when society often overlooks older women, we are creating a movement that reminds women they are still vibrant, valuable, beautiful, and capable of evolving.
Yes, at our age, we still have dreams.
Yes, at our age, we still deserve joy.
Yes, at our age, we are still becoming.
And this year, we are celebrating ourselves out loud.
